Thirsty Thursday Mocktail of the Week- Kleinworth & Co. Creamy Watermelon Lime Chiller

Hi Everyone!!

I'm Gina Kleinworth from Kleinworth & Co. I'm SUPER EXCITED to be here posting today at Baby Bump Bundle Blog & sharing one of our new favorite family recipes. We are in the home stretch until the end of summer for most people (unless you live in the Southwest & you will be in the heat until November), so I thought I would come up with a tasty treat to share to give one last hurrah to the heat.

I have been on a kick for making beverages because they are so simple & refreshing this time of year. My kids love having all sorts of different things to try & share with their friends too. I love coming up with things that can be made both in kid version & adult version because that way I'm just changing one ingredient & not having to make a whole separate recipe for the different age groups.

One of our latest favorites is this Creamy Watermelon Lime Chiller. With all the watermelon in the house this time of year- it's the perfect way to kick back & enjoy the last few weeks of summer. Creamy Watermelon Lime Chiller Ingredients
2 C watermelon- cubed
1-1/2 C simple syrup
1/2 C whipped cream
1/2 a lime - juiced

Instructions
Blend all ingredients until smooth & well combined. Serve immediately.

Thank you so much Michelle for sharing your space with me today. It's been a pleasure!

Thirsty Thursday Mocktail of the Week: Tropical Slush

A perfect addition to any upcoming parties, this non-alcoholic specialty drink from Fav Family Recipes serves around 20 guests. They recommend cutting the recipe in half if you have a smaller group but you can also adjust the recipe even more if you just want one or two glasses as well. It will transport you to the islands and is like sipping summer in a glass, or in this case shall we say sipping summer out of a pineapple!

Tropical Slush
Ingredients
1/2 gallon lime sherbet
1/2 gallon pineapple sherbet
2 liters 7-up
6 oz. frozen pineapple juice
6 oz. frozen limeade
7 1/2 oz (1/2 can) Coco Lopez Cream of Coconut

Instructions
Mash together until sherbet is softened and slush-like.
Serve immediately.

Thirsty Thursday Mocktail of the Week: Polar Seltzer Sangria

This week, I am excited to partner up with Polar Seltzer to introduce a kid-friendly and mom-to-be safe mocktail/drink! They have a few limited edition flavors that really are amazing alone! But they are even better with the addition of a few ingredients to create unique drink combinations.  Polar Seltzer’s all natural and calorie free summer seltzers include Mint Mojito, Ginger Lemonade, Cucumber Melon, Pina Colada and Pomegranate Sangria. See below for their recipe which would have been great for July 4th, but will be delicious all summer long.

ALL-AMERICAN SANGRIA (sans alcohol)
makes 1 pitcher
1 cup White Grape Juice
1 bottle Apple Juice
1 bottle Polar® Pomegranate Sangria, chilled
Blueberries, whole
Strawberries, cut in quarter spears
Star fruit, sliced

Mix together all ingredients, except the Polar Seltzer, and let chill in the refrigerator for several hours so the flavors can settle. Be sure to also keep your Polar Seltzer in the refrigerator so it is cold too.
Before serving add the seltzer to the mixture and stir gently. You may want to have extra fruit on hand to add to glasses.

In case you missed it, catch up on past mocktails here.
